Desert time

Hello World!

I have a product review for you all today, and it's a very delicious one

Product: Pancakes with milo ice- cream

How to create:

What you will need for this delicious meal is pancakes, I've used the greens original pancake shake, which is a powered mix that you add water to and shake to create!

Then, you need ice cream and some milo

All you do is scoop out as much ice cream as you want, sprinkle some milo on the top and mix.

Once you have created both of these, all you do is grab your favourite movies, a comfy seat and warm blanket, then scoop some milo ice cream onto a pancake, smooth it out like butter, and eat.

YUM!

Tips:

When cooking your pancakes in a fry pan, try putting it on medium heat and, using a paper towel or cloth, apply some butter evenly to the pan, as this creates a non stick surface allowing for easing flipping and removal of the pancakes.

Enjoy, and if you try this, leave a comment below telling me what you think.

New boots

Hello World!

Got back from my trip to Mackay yesterday afternoon (had an absolute blast and will be posting pictures soon), and today with mum I went shopping to celebrate my return.

We went to the nearest shopping centre, and I managed to pick up some brand new leather ankle boots

And for only $40 from Aldi, I was pretty happy with this find, considering I've been looking for new boots since my black pair broke last December.

What's the latest thing you've found when out shopping and bought that you absolutely love?

Book review: Tiger's Quest

Hello Wold!

For this blog post, I am delivering to you all book 2 in the new Tigers Curse Seris by our beloved Colleen Houck.

Blub:
The last thing Kelsey Hayes thought she’d be doing this summer was trying to break a 300-year-old Indian curse. With a mysterious white tiger named Ren. Halfway around the world. But that’s exactly what happened. Face-to-face with dark forces, spellbinding magic, and  mystical worlds where nothing is what it seems, Kelsey risks everything to piece together an ancient prophecy that could break the curse forever.

***

First off, Kishan. What a hunk of bad- boy muscle and charms. During his journey with Kelsey, we learn how underneath his cocky bad- boy exterior is a loveable man, still living in day by day pain of the decisions he made hundreds of years ago. This was incredibly refreshing in a book, as most bad boys are just plain rude or don't character flesh. Houck has written Kishan with such character depth, it improves this book so much.

What a book :).

I'm going away for a few days for the Easter holidays, and will probably be posting my next entry late. Sorry Everyone!

See you all soon <3

Book Review: Tigers Curse Colleen Houck

Hello World!

This week, I moved house! It's a downsize slowly, but it's still a beautiful modern home and I love it!!

So,
For this weeks blog post, I'm recommending a new book series (I'm still thinking of a name for monthly book recommendations, but I haven't got one yet. If you have an idea, please let me know!!)

The first series I'm recommending is called 'Tigers Curse' by Colleen Houck. It's about two Indian princes who are cursed by an opposing royal house, and a few hundred years in the future they rely on an American teenager to lift the curse and help save them.

The first book in the series is the self titled 'Tigers Curse'

My breakdown:
I really enjoyed this book because it was written incredibly well, and Ren is such an enchanting character with incredible chemistry. I really liked the plot of the story, and the way everything played out. I was always wanting to read this book, and I never wanted to put it down. You can pick this book up from most good book stores for around $12.

Enjoy!
