Lush bath bomb

Hello World!
Throwing us back to my previous post about lush bath bombs, I have a secret to confess.

Shamefully, I have never actually used bath bombs (I'm sorry). I got my tip from giving the bombs to friends and family, and setting the baths up for them.
But, last night after I got home from basketball, I decided to succumb to trend, and try a bomb myself.

Going against my tip for my first lush experience, I used a whole bomb in yellow.
When I dropped it in the bath, the water first turned yellow

Then, once the core of th bomb was revealed, the water turned blue.

And finally once both the outer core and the inner core combined, it turned a lovely sea green

Even though it does look fairly gross in this picture (I used flash), it was a really nice green. The bath also smelt AMAZING, a fresh lemon and daisy smell which was just lovely.

After I was satisfied with my photos, I was itching to jump in, and enjoyed a nice lush bath with ravioli and a good book.
I think I shall continue down the journey of lush, I feel deprived for never having tried this incredible brand before (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

Post cyclone rain photography

Hello World!
As most of you will know by now over the past few days, Australia has been hit by cyclone Marcia and cyclone Lan. Once both cyclones had downgraded to tropical storms, it was a cue for the rain.
And boy did it come down hard.
For 3 days straight its just been rain, varying from heavy downpour to light dreary drizzle. I still don't understand where all the rain comes from.
But despite what some people would lead you to believe, wet weather actually makes for a great photo opportunity, especially if you live in a property with landscaped gardens.
I'm no flash photographer and my camera is just my average iPod camera, but I still managed to capture some amazing shots.

There you have it! That was just a couple of my favourite snaps I captured
Hope you enjoyed :)

Cyclone Marcia

Hello World!
Just writing this post to send happy and safe thoughts to anyone in the Northern Territory or Northern Queensalnd in the path of category 5 cyclone Marcia. Remember the winds are over 200km and a lot of rain. Stay inside stay safe and stay together. Also, remember to keep your pets safe and secure any loose belongs that could get blown around and cause damage.
Wishing you all the best and good safe, if you have never experienced a cyclone, a category 5 is the most dangerous cyclone possible and it is incredibly dangerous so stay inside and in the strongest and most secure part of the house.
Wishing you all the best

Saturday Night Pancakes... Again

Hello World!
So continuing our tradition of Saturday-Night-After-Basketball-Food, we went out to another restaurant.
Or to be more precise, the same restaurant.
At the same shopping centre.
Whoops.
Ok ok, we were going to go to Fasta Pasta this week, but our plans were thwarted due to the restaurant having closed down, so we returned to Pancake Manor in good faith.

Main Meals:
This time round my father and brother were with us, and they both got 'Burger Off The Grill' which looked like this:
I didn't take a picture of the burgers, and instead had to google the image but it looked pretty similar to this. Yum.

Mum and I of course had the nachos again:
The only part of our meal I took a picture of, hence why it is so dark.

Desert:
When dining out at fine restaurants such as Pancake Manor, I highly recommend both ordering desert after the main food, and sharing a large desert between two, because they really are quite filling meals.
Anyway back to the pancakes.
My brother and Dad shared a 'Strawberry Patch'

And Mum and I had Chocolate Ripple:
This image isn't great because our pancakes had more sauce and was decorated this neatly (I preferred it when it was more carefree because there was more sauce and it just looked spectacular whereas the neat just looks boring).

Overall the second time round was definitely just as good as the first and k still highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal.

One Direction Freakout!

Hello World!
For those of you who don't know, I'm a massive one direction fan (Niall and Harry are my favourites).
So naturally when the boys announced they would be coming down under for their 2015 On The Road Again Tour, I had to go!
My friends and I got section A, Hot tickets, placing us around 8 rows back from the B stage (AHHHHHH).

On the tour the boys were joined by the band McBusted
And the always incredible Samantha Jade
The concert was everything I had hoped it would be and more and I loved it so much. For merchandise I could have got a t-shirt or a program, but rather bought a big flag to go with my one from their last tour.

Post Concert Depression had struck hard and more than anything would I love to go back and spend all night watching my boys. I am so proud to be apart of the 1D family <3
Here are some pics to enjoy :)

Saturday Night Pancakes

Hello World!
For those of you who don't know, I play competitive basketball, at a district level. I play on a Friday night and a Saturday afternoon, and have made a new tradition of Saturday Rep Dinner, starting last night.
First night:
We won our game (yay!), and headed to a popular shopping centre down the road, and chose to dine at the wonderful restaurant, Pancake Manor. My dad couldn't come to the game, so it was just my mum and I. We both had lemon lime and bitters to drink, and split a serving of nachos and "Hot 'n' Troppo" pancake meal (2 buttermilk pancakes with roasted walnuts, lightly toasted and glazed banana slices, chocolate ice- cream and chocolate sauce). It was AMAZING. I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone and everyone, our meal and drinks only costing around $30. It was a perfect meal for Saturaday Night Dinner.

Taco Tuesday: Staying Organised

Hello World!
Welcome to another addition of Taco Tuesday! This week I wanted to discuss the topic of organisation, rather how to stay organised and on top of everything. I have just started senior years at my high school, so everything becomes a lot more important now for me. The past few years I have struggled with staying organised and properly organising my time. So, this year in order to get the best grades I can, I knew something had to change. I went down to a wonderful shop called office works and purchased a stainless steel desk whiteboard.
As you can see, I've already written some reminders down for myself.
I loved this whiteboard because not only does it look expensive and flashy, it came with some handy magnets, a market, and some hanging tape. And the best part? It only cost $11. It can be hard to get used to using a product like this to help yourself, but a little bit of practise goes along the way, and the end result will make it all worth while. I also have a habit of forgetting small jobs or items, so this board also serves as a purpose to write these things down before I forget them.

To all th people who suffer from similar problems to me, I highly recommend you find yourself something like this, as it really does help a lot.

If you're ready, nothing can stop us.
